Export Company Overseas Automotive Solutions Demonstrated Comprehensive Transport Solutions at the Russia-Africa Summit.

The export company Overseas Automotive Solutions, a distributor of commercial carriers, takes part in the Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum. The export company presented comprehensive transport solutions for African countries at the round table “Doing Business in Africa: Risks, Terms and Opportunities” and demonstrated to the participants of the forum motor vehicles for cargo and passenger services, different business sectors, public services, and healthcare facilities. The forum was attended by leaders of African states, representatives of the Russian, African, and global business communities, government agencies, and integration associations in Africa. The forum was held at EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Centre, St. Petersburg, on July 27-28.

The export company Overseas Automotive Solutions presented a broad model range of light and medium commercial vehicles, as well as buses of several classes at the Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum. The exhibition featured vehicles with a gross weight of 3.5 t — C-class ambulance on the basis of Gazelle NN and civil all-metal combi van Sobol NN; municipal utility machinery with crane manipulators on the basis of Gazelle NEXT and all-wheel drive truck Sadko NEXT, compact low-floor minibus Gazelle City and medium class bus Citymax 9.

The Sobol NN civil truck with a gross weight of 3.5 t is a good choice for restrained urban conditions. This is a compact model with a turning radius of a passenger vehicle (5.4 m) and can easily navigate heavy traffic. Due to a single-tire wheel, the truck has an extended loading area, where up to 7.8 m3 of cargo or three Euro pallets can be placed. The height is less than 2.5 m, which allows Sobol NN to fit into car washeterias and low arches of houses, while the standard parking area (13.5 m2) ensures easy parking even during busy hours.

Gazelle NN C-class Ambulance

The single-tire rear axle model is equipped with an expanded interior and provides a wide range of layout arrangements to make the work of medical personnel more comfortable. The air-cushion suspension of the rear axle improves the overall comfort and stability of the vehicle on roads with different surfaces The rear doors open up to 270 degrees and make it easy to move patients. The vehicle is highly maneuverable and can drive up to a ramp or porch. A wide side opening with a sliding door provides easy access to the medical interior for a patient and staff. The interior upholstery is made of single molded panels to form a rigid structure and make disinfection easier.

Gazelle City Compact Bus

The frame low-floor bus is designed for urban and suburban service of 22 passengers, including 17 seats. This model is unique within its class and adds to the barrier-free environment. There are no steps, adjustable air suspension for lowering the floor level when driving to a stop, an automated ramp, a wide double door, and a large storage area make boarding and disembarking of passengers with limited mobility easier. The driver's comfort is ensured by improved ergonomics of the workplace and additional storage spaces. The interior is equipped with autonomous air heaters and a passenger information system.

Mobile Workshop with a Crane Manipulator on the Basis of Sadko NEXT

The workshop on the basis of Sadko NEXT is designed to transport a team of 7 people, necessary equipment, carry out repair work in the working compartment, as well as loading and unloading tasks. The payload of the crane manipulators is 2.6 t with a radius of 1.45 m and 1 t with a radius of 3.65 m. The vehicle has a strong frame construction, designed for constant loading and a difficult operating environment. It is a high-mobility vehicle with good vehicle behavior and multiple operating features. Among its advantages is the utilization flexibility in various climatic conditions.

Citymax 9 Bus

The bus is designed for transporting 77 passengers. The layout of the interior and the fastening of seats to the sides of the vehicle make it easy for passengers to move around, and without steps near the doors it is easier to enter/exit and the passenger exchange is faster at stops. The design features of the vehicle make the driver's work easier due to ergonomics, high mobility, and total absence of blind spots when boarding/disembarking passengers. The kneeling system in combination with an automatic ramp, an area equipped to accommodate a wheelchair, and a large storage area with lumbar supports make CITYMAX 9 adapted for transporting passengers with limited mobility. The vehicle body is made of composite materials, which are lightweight, durable, corrosion-free and allow to reduce fuel consumption by decreasing the total weight. The air-cushion suspension ensures a smooth run and comfort during the drive, while the large glass area provides the best visibility for passengers and the driver. CITYMAX 9 has a 5.8-meter wheelbase and is highly mobile, with a turning radius of only 8.8 m.

Gazelle NEXT 4.6 Drop-side Truck with a Crane Manipulator

Gazelle NEXT 4.6 with a crane manipulator combines the functions of a truck crane and a standard truck. The crane manipulator is made of heavy-duty steel, which ensures the durability of the structure at a relatively low weight Optionally, the crane manipulator can be equipped with a lifter winch, drill, two-leaf grab bucket, forked pick-up, and other equipment. The three-point bridge at the base of the crane manipulator reduces shock loads on the vehicle frame while driving on rough roads. The control system of the crane manipulator is divided into two parts: one distributor controls the supports and the other controls the boom. This protects the unit from the operator's errors and accidental retraction of the support when the boom is loaded. The maximum radius of the boom is 4.7 m; the crane's lifting capacity at the maximum radius is 635 kg; the weight of the transported load is 1.2 kg.
